DJELIMADY TOUNKARA SEPTET (Mali)

the new elegant project of the Super Rail Band's leader Djelimady Tounkara,
lead guitarist for the Super Rail Band of Bamako, Mali. He is a master
musician, a pioneer in transforming ancient Manding griot music onto guitar,
as well as being one of the most powerful electric guitarists in Africa.

On his new CD “Solon Kôno“ and tour Djélimady has given free rein to his improvisational talent on acoustic  guitar in a subtle and elegant fashion.
